Journal Entry #9

The Apple logo uses monochromatic colors, much unlike its older rainbow colored logo. I think this logo is much better because it has a simple color scheme that doesn’t go overboard. Also I think this color scheme is good because when I think of technology, I also think of metallic or monochromatic colors.

Quizno’s uses green, red, and tan in their color scheme for their logo.  I think the colors could represent tomatoes, lettuce, and bread, since it is a sub sandwich company. The red and green in the logo are complementary colors, which make the logo stand out.

Twitter uses a blue bird for its logo. The bird is blue with a yellow-orange beak and legs, which are split-complementary colors. I don’t think the colors particularly mean anything except for when I think of a bird, I also think of the sky which is also blue.
